Is My Phone eSIM Compatible? How to Check and Supported Devices

Published: 02/09/2025

Wondering if your phone supports eSIM? The quickest way to check is to dial *#06# on your device. If an EID number appears, your phone supports eSIM. If no EID is shown, your device is not eSIM compatible.

Below, we explain how to confirm if your device is unlocked and provide a list of eSIM-compatible iPhone, Samsung, Google Pixel, and Android models.

How do I check if my phone supports eSIM?

  • Open your dialer and enter *#06#
  • Look for an EID number in the results.
  • If you see an EID, your phone supports eSIM. If not, your phone does not support eSIM.

If in doubt, contact your device manufacturer or carrier to confirm compatibility.

Can I use eSIM on a locked phone?

No. Only unlocked devices can use Wraptel eSIMs.

How to check if your phone is unlocked:

On iPhone:
